This bowl, which measures 7.5”x3.5” was fired in our salt kiln at Hickory Flat Pottery. This process involves throwing pounds of salt into a kiln and the melted salt creates a natural crystal glaze on the exterior of the vessel. This piece was glazed on the interior to make it food safe.
